The Colonels have proven without a doubt they deserve to be called Potato Bowl Champions. In a season where it seemed everything was going against the Colonels, they were able to over come those hurtles and claim the title.

The score and play in this game does not indicate how close of a game this was. This win for the Colonels was a game of big plays. The Wolves controlled the ball on offense but could not put the points on the board. The Colonels defense would bend but not break. The Wolves were missing their two big offensive weapons Tom Lund and Mat Harris whom are both away playing rugby. Ben Thompson filled in and did an excellent job with hard running up the middle, finding the open holes.....more
