It appeared that this would be a hard fought game with the winner claiming 1st place overall. The 1st quarter with the Wolves scoring on the first play of the game, Ernie Carranza hitting for a 60 yard TD run, convert good to take early lead 7-0. ..more

 

Colonels Clip the Clippers

The Colonels with their new QB, Chris Wigmore, on the opening drive connected with Adam MacDonald for a 22 yard TD, covert good, Colonels take early lead 7-0. Shortly later with Clippers deep in their own end on 4th down play knees the punt in their own end zone which gave the Colonels 2 points. This was the first game for the Clippers, so the nerves should in the 1st quarter. Once the nerves were in control so were the Clippers, moving the ball at will by both ground and air.
