Colonels Upset Cats - Oct 15, 2006

Island Construction Colonels upset the undefeated McKenna Bros Souris Wild Cats 26-13.

Great game played by both sides with both great defense and offense. The game was tied at the end of the 1st quarter 7-7 with Sean Curly for the Colonels with a QB sneak play scored one Touch Down and passing for two more in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Sean Curley certainly showed why he is QB.

2nd quarter was scoreless.

3rd quarter Colonels scored 12 points while Souris could only answer with 6 points.

4th quarter belonged to the Colonels, scoring another 7 points and shutting down Souris offense.

One of the main reasons was the outstanding play of Ryan Mullaly at middle line backer and Special teams for the Colonels. Unfortunately for Souris they were missing their star player Marcus Dunphy as well Souris had 3 fumbles which really changed the flow of the game.

Next game is Sunday, Oct 22 at 1:00PM, in Souris, where the McKenna Bros Souris Wild Cats Take on the Cornwall TimberWolves.
