3rd Quarter

The Wolves had the ball for much of the 3rd quarter marching up and down the field but the hard hitting young colonels defense were able to hold the Wolves off the score board.

4th Quarter

Jeremy Avery on a great run was able to put the game away with his 1st TD of the year. As usual Jeff Trowsdale’s kick was good. Wolves lead 29-6.

With the Colonel’s All Star running back on the bench with a bad ankle, it made it difficult for the Colonels to mount and type of offense or come back. Adam McDonald, the speedster for the Colonels did finally run it for the final score of the night, convert was missed.

The young Colonels had heart and never gave up; they could be the surprise team by the end of the year. Neither team had an effective passing game; these two teams fought it out on the ground.
