Summerside to Play Foorball in 2007

SUMMERSIDE ­ The P.E.I. Tackle Football League announced a football team will be in Summerside for the fall play 2007. Cooke Insurance has agreed to be the team sponsor.

 

Organizers are looking for coaches, assistant coaches, trainers and volunteers who can help run the club. The team also needs a treasurer, fundraising committee, etc. League members are currently in discussion with the City of Summerside and the Western School Board with regards to use of land to play. Anyone between the age of 15 to 18 interested in playing tackle football in Summerside, can email jcooke@cooke.ca.
